Press Release - February 26, 2020
Copper Dog Books is an independent bookstore in downtown Beverly, first opened in November 2016. When the owners, Julie Karaganis and Meg Wasmer, purchased the bookstore in August 2019 it was with a vision to be a strong community member and as such, we are pleased to announce the establishment of our scholarship fund.
The Copper Dog Books Scholarship has been created to assist students with the high cost of textbooks & study materials. The scholarship fund, which will annually award two Beverly High School seniors with $500, supports education of all kinds, including part-time, community colleges and trade schools. The goal is to both promote reading and to further students’ education.
More information about applying for the scholarship, please contact the Beverly High School Guidance Department.
